Hi! My name is Tracy and I am the decorator, and head mess maker at Tracy Cakes & Cookies (my friends call me TracyCakes and I’m not mad about it). I have been making cakes and cookies for over fifteen years. I am a local Grand Rapids, Michigan Cottage Food Baker and I love what I do every single day. What that means is I run my little bakery out of my home kitchen and abide by the Michigan Cottage Food Laws. My friends and family members are my biggest fans. They secretly (or not so secretly) love it when I make mistakes.
A little about me…
I started baking forever ago.. I can’t even remember when. I have a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree so creativity is in my blood. My love of baked goods and my love of creativity culminated into making delicious treats that also look amazing. All my friends have been telling me to start my own business for as long as I can remember. So, here I am, making a go of it. I am not trying to become the next giant baking conglomerate. I like to be busy, sometimes to the chagrin of my adoring family.
